Memory Speed?
Probably a simple answer to this, but I'm confused. Optiplex 330 here with E4500/2.2 GHz cpu and 800 MHz "Memory Bandwidth." Uses NON-ECC DDR2 memory. What speed memory do I need to get the full benefit the system offers. Some say 667 MHz, some say 800 MHz. Currently 1 GB of 667 MHz, but I want to bump it up to the full 4 GB and with only two mem slots that means the current 1 GB is orphaned. Windows XP Home SP3. Yes, I know I may only be able to use 3.5 or so of the 4 GB. Thank you. |

Memory Speed?
800 MHz is correct but doubt you would see a difference.
