TV-Out, how???
Hi!
I'm getting very frustrated here bcouse I can't get TV out. I have a GF6800GT and I use the included SVHS to composite adapter (The card is so poorly constructed that it won't take my high quality SVHS connector). When I boot I see the DOS screena nd boot process just fine, but as soon as Win starts to load the pictures dissapears and after that there's now ay to get it back. Am I doing something wrong? Any suggestion on how to get working TV out? Also, about the drivers, I've always had ATI cards and there I can set up theathre mode so that anything played in the media player goes out fullscreen on the telly even if the mediaplayer is minimized, can I do the same with NVidia drivers?? Best Wishes Thomas |

Still wish I could use my SVHS out as the quality is way higher.. but the stupid Gainward card has a 2mm gap between the connector and the backplate of the card, add to that the computers material (1.5-2mm) and it's impossible to seat the connector :/ Best Wishes Thomas |

I HAVE to extend my win desktop to the TV to be able to use it at all, otherwise all controls for it dissapear, I'm not interested in seeing win on the TV or losing windows offscreen, I just want to see video and games on it... TV-Out, how???
Iam using a 6600 Gt agp on an 86cm WS HD TV. Using Component conection. And i can play Full screen movies and games. Just takes some time to figure out all the settings. You might have to use underscan or overscan to fit stuff to your screen. I use underscan and 720p mode. Everything works sweet. Though i have a monitor hooked up as well to get out of those awkward situatiosn wherei can get to the controls on the tv. Like when first trying a game thats over 800by600 the maxium size my TV will handle to see all the settings It works and it works goooood. Just give it a go. (Look at the jack, the pin arrangement is likely different.) -- Robert Hancock Saskatoon, SK, Canada To email, remove "nospam" from Home Page: http://www.roberthancock.com/ |

Any suggestion on how to get working TV out? Probably because you haven't enabled it. You want to turn on Clone mode in the nView Display Settings. Also, about the drivers, I've always had ATI cards and there I can set up theathre mode so that anything played in the media player goes out fullscreen on the telly even if the mediaplayer is minimized, can I do the same with NVidia drivers?? This one has a SVHS out jack and comes with a SVHS to composite adapter, the pins fit, just can't get the connector in deep enough to seat it properly. Best Wishes Thomas |
