Default lost inbox

I have windows 95 and internet explorer 5.5, outlook express is my email. I
had more than 100 emails in my inbox and they "disappeared" I don't think
they are deleted because my hard drive space didn't increase. all other
folders are intact. Any ideas how to find them or what newsgroup I should
post the question on? My ISP and Gateway tech supports were not able to
help.
Thanks for any suggestions
~k

It could be as simple as to click on (in Outlook Express) "View", "Current
View", then make sure "Show all messages" is selected.

That didn't work? Any other suggestions? Now I am having trouble accessing
the inbox even with hardly any visible emails.
Thanks, K

Thank you all for all your suggestions! I have been able to find some of
them. Outlook express is still not behaving properly. The computer is 5 and
a half years old. Probably time to get a new one!!

No... just time for a reformat and reload. After that it will be like
new.
