You can use the ssc software to reset the waste ink count
You can use info from stevesforums to install an ink waste bin

If you reset it, install a waste tank. But... diaper replacement is
covered under warranty... better to go with a diaper change and an
external inktank if possible.

Thanks Zakezuke, but I have a CIS and all I really want to know is the
sequence of buttons to push to get the reset.

I've not tried the button method to reset the pad counter, i've only
used the SCC utility. Someone posted pressing all three buttons for a
few seconds while powering the printer own will reset it.

But more details info regarding such things from users that actually
continue to use their r200s can be found at the prior link

While you say you don't need the waste ink bin modification, it's still
the best thread on the subject of the r200 and the most likely place to
find the info you are looking for if you simply don't wish to use the
SSC utility to reset the printer.

There is no button sequence to achieve this in the r200 so far as I know.
But e-mail me if you would like more information and a possible solution.

The R200 has no sequence of button to reset the waste ink counter,
unfortunately. Epson removed that feature to make things more difficult
for end users to over-ride the waste ink counter. They use proprietary
software now.
