Video Capture Problem
I'm using the Geforce FX5200 video card with Roxio EXCD Burner to
capture analog video from a camcorder. Periodically, and in the same places on the tape, I get a big white horizontal band across the playback image, covering about 2/3 of the center of the picture. I've tried other software packages and got the same problem. I've updated my Roxio to 6.1, my graphics drivers to 45.33. I've tried using S-Video and composite, same result, 720x480, 640x480 and 320x240, all with the same result. It sounds like bad source, but when during the capture, the video looks fine, and if I play the video directly to TV it looks fine. Any ideas, please? |

Go to your viseo card maker and download wdm 1.08 and uninstall the one that
came with your video card and install the wdm 1.08. I had that same problem with my evga 5600 ultra until I did that. It works great now. "Chip Kelly" wrote in message ... Thanks for the help. The 1.08 version is hard to find, but I located
it on drivers.com. After installing it, no more white bar. -chip On Sun, 14 Sep 2003 05:46:54 -0500, "edde" wrote: Yup same here. ANy WDM newer than 1.08 has the whitebar problem.
