Message App Box in System Tray? What is it?
Hello All!
My wife's Dell (9 months old) uses Windows XP Home, and gets this strange box in the system tray that says "Message App" but does nothing when clicked. It's annoying at best, and could be something bad at worst. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! I had this too, a few days ago. I couldn't get rid of it or find its source.
But I shut down. After restarting I ran Ad-Aware but didn't notice anything unusual. It hasn't returned. Nan "geewhiz" wrote in message ... Hello All! Search for damon.exe on your PC. If you find it, rename it to ~damon.exe
and reboot. If my guess is correct, you will not see the "strange box" again. "geewhiz" wrote in message ... Hello All!
