Default GPU Temp

How can I find out what my GPU temp is? Is there a utility similar to MBM
for video cards?

my motherboard has extra senor headers so I just brought a sensor and put it
under the heatsink and enabled the header so the temp shows in MBM5.

You can't get the temp if there is no sensor to read the temp.

PS. is that 280/584 stock for the Ti4200? You should be able to get alot
more than that out of it. My Gainward MX460 is up to 320/630 stable.

In the NVidia page of your video card 'advannced' settings it has some
details, but I have a feeling it's only some of the FX series that
display this based on some similar threads. On my card it has both GPU
core and ambient temp.

Have a loook anyway I guess.

They are not the default settings, but when I go above that I get some
distortion in 3dMark2001SE NAture scenes, especially the flying butterflies.
