Default ATI Cards with 32MB and above

Hi All

Could anyone please answer the following questions?

Do ATI cards with 32MB of Memory and above (all models) have
necessarily the support for 32bit (True color)?

Do ATI cards with 32MB of Memory and above (all models) have
necessarily the support for DirectX 9 VMR filter under windows 2000
OS?

Amount of memory is not a great way to judge graphics cards. I'm fairly
certain they should support the DX9 stuff through software, but only DX9
cards (9500+) will support it in hardware. I'm also reasonably sure that
32-bit colour will be supported. The Voodoo 3 was about the most recent
card that didn't support this.

Come back with the model of the card e.g. Rage 128, Radeon, Radeon 9500 etc
and someone can give you a definite answer.
