Default Where can I download gigabyte utilities for my mb?

My cd is faulty, and my provider seems to be quite dumb, so I need to
download the utilities (I have done with the drivers). My motherboard is a
K8NS Pro.

Greetings.

absolutely not, try to search for the Gigabyte Windows Utilities Manager, or
de Gigabyte Management Tool, or de DMI Viewer or the Silicon Sata Raid
Utility, or the Raid utility for GigaRAID. This programs are in the mb cd,
but they ARE NOT on gigabytes web.

This is normal behaviour for many manufacturers - software on CD (only)
available to buyers only. However, Easytune 4 can be downloaded from their
Taiwan web site.
However, your supplier should be able to burn a copy for ya, no?

well, this is the question, they should be able, of course but their stupid
working protocol must say something like this:

1- If a client reclaims a faulty mb drivers cd give him another one.
2- If this client comes again with the same problem, ask him the motherboard
to test it.

My mb is fully installed in its box, and I don`t want to give it back to
them, this is the stupid situation I am involved into.

If someone could send me this software, I have a gmail account to send it
to, and I have too one invitation left ...

Greetings.

My experience is that most of the free utilities you refer to are useless
bloatware suitable for marketing purposes but not much else. You are
probably missing out on a lot less than you think!

I usually think like you about this kind of discs, but i am afraid the raid
utilities may be useful when I use the raid mode.

Are you sure there are RAID utilities? My 8KNXP uses the same SI and ITE
controllers but came with no RAID utilities except one for the Intel
chipset. All Silicon Image and ITE Giga RAID functions are available through
the start-up screen if these controllers have been enabled in the BIOS. As
long as you were able to download the proper drivers for your OS, you should
be good to go. Still sucks that you can't get a replacement disk from your
retailer.

it says so in the manual of the board, page 83

it really sucks, they have told me today that will search for a cd
replacement after testing the faulty discs in their computers, it seems to
be a whole bunch of defective discs, as they have tested three of them. I
hope it will get solved in some days.

BTW, are you using RAID?, in the manual it says that the drivers must be
installed from the mb cd, that I could not do, I suppose that after
installing the drivers from windows, the RAID will be fully recognized in
case I clone my windows partition in order to boot from the RAID, but really
I do not know for sure.
