6610xl
Hi All iv just built myself a system 6600 core 2 2gb ram 320 gb H/D. The
graphics card i took out of my old system its a Geforce 6610xl iv got about £150 now to spend on a new card could I expect much of an upgrade for that price if so any ideas what i should get. Cheers Norman

I built a system with same specs as yours. For video I'm using
an ASUS 7950GT, 512 megs. It seems a perfect match for the 6600 and runs quite cool. Have yet to get it over 55C. I'm in Canada, but paid an equivalent of a bit less than your £150 budget. The ASUS card runs at spec speeds, but for a bit more you can get the BFX 7950GT overclocked version. Ian
