If you are not interested in the 5600 Ultra versions then I would say go for
the Geforce 4 Ti4200 it would be better than the 5600 non-ultra cards.

Doubtful if you'll need the extra 128MBs of RAM at the moment, especially on
an already fairly pedestrian piece of hardware such as this.

Sparkle GeForce 4 Ti4200 128MB TV DVI VIVO £115

This is not much of an upgrade over the radeon you already have. It's more
of a lateral move really. In some respects it's actually a downgrade...

MSI Nvidia FX5600 128MB TV DVI (325Mhz core 550Mhz memory clock) £115

This sounds pretty nice in comparison, though you should check around for
similar cards and compare prices. Don't just buy the first one you stumble
upon. All cards are pretty much the same anyway from both a quality and
performance standpoint, and certainly from a compatibility point of view
too. All manufacturers' cards are based on the same reference design, gone
are the days when firms made custom jobbies. Many even come from the exact
same factory with maybe a different heatsink strapped to it and different
manufacturer logos silkscreened on the PCBs....

Yep.. 256mb version are a waste of money for the fastest cards.

??? WTF are you talking about? The ATI9000 is a tad slower than the
GF3-Ti200 card (Which is faster than the MX440 & mx460 card). The
fx5600 is an upgrade, but is a LOT slower than the Ti4200.

This is most likely a NON Ultra again... Still slower than the
TI4200. Only the NEW Ultra 5600 is faster than the Ti4x00 series.
But that's about $200.
