Cheap inkjet printer for leaflets
My old Epson 600 is on its last legs, so I need a cheap printer which
will be mostly used for printing home-made leaflets on plain paper and card. Ability to use cheaper compatible cartridges is important. My Epson 600 has a large unprintable strip along the bottom of an A4 sheet which is a real nuisance, and looks much bigger when you make a double-fold leaflet. I'd therefore like a printer which can print borderless or at least can print VERY close to all 4 edges of the paper. I have no particular preference of make, but I have had bad exeriences with the HP paper feed on 3 separate printers bought from 1995 to 2000 which all eventually refuse to grab sheets from the input tray (even after cleaning the feed rollers), but my Epson has always fed paper flawlessly. Any suggestions? (I will probably get a separate printer for high quality photos.) Thanks Colin |

Canon i450, i470D, i550, i850, i865 and i950 all support borderless A4
Canon are the easiest to refill in most cases I can vouch for the i850 as being fast too, churn those leaflets out! "-" wrote in message om...
