Are Dell Mobo's SLI ready?

I have an XPS 400 Dual Core w/ GeForce 6800 (old card) and now a GeForce
9800 GT 1GB.

Thanks,

Some are. But most of those are in the XPS6XX or 7XX models (the top end
gaming systems). There may be some XPS4XX series with that option IF they
were originally ordered that way, but I'm not positive.

Easy way to know is to open the case and look at the board. You'll either
have (2) matching PCI express slots living next to one another or you won't.
