Default SATA Drives and Raid

This is my son's setup. I have absolutely no experience with SATA or Raid.
What he told me is that the drive he wants to hook up to the Intel chipset
was originally created on the SI chipset. Windows can't see the drive when
hooked up to the Intel chipset. The board apparently has 2 RAID
chipsets.....SI and Intel. Can they both be used at the same time? I would
appreciate the expertise of the group on this.

Thank you

875P Motherboard
8KNXP
GIGABYTE
This is the motherboard I have.

I have two Western Digital Serial ATA hard drives. 10,000RPM WD Raptor
74gigabytes. set up as one 132.47Gb Disk Striping (RAID 0) This has WIN
XP on it.

The drives are working just fine.
they are hooked up to ATA0_SII / SATA1_SII (Serial Connector) Chipset
Sil3112 "this is two drives"
This is all working good.

I want to hook up One more drive to SATA0_SB (Serial ATA Connector) chipset
ICH5R
Its a 120Gb Serial ATA Hard drive.

How do I set up the BIOS
I have the driver ready on a floppy.
Windows does not see it. win only see the two 74.
I have looked in Administrative Tools.----------- Disk Management does NOT
see it at all.......But I do see the other drive(C partition Healthy
(System), cd-rom (E and dvd (D. BUT NO 120gb hard drive.

The Serial ATA0 Connector (Controlled by ICH5R)

ICH5R This is the chip set that I have.
