Default eay (I hope) question

I have an BE6 motherboard with on-board highpoint HPT UDMA-66
controllers. I have purchased a promise UDMA-100 card for this
computer, and was wondering if there is anything I have to do in the
bios? One one channel, the one that comes up in the boot shows a cdrw
and cd. This is all that is shown until this final secs then it shows
the HD C and D. Any help is most appreciated. Michael
