Default Dead DFI Mobo and Onboard SATA Raid 0

Hi all!

Have a DFI LanParty 865PE (Rev. A, not B). The mobo died tonight
after a record 22 hours of Half Life 2. I think when I finally
finished, the motherboard in a fitting tribute to the most awesome
game I've ever played, simply died outright.

At least that's what I'm troubleshooting down to, and I'm 90% sure
after swapping most everything out save the vid card. That comes
next.

However, the inevitable is bound to happen and I'll find the mobo
fried nicely. That being said, it would be likely that I'm going to
be up a long, thin creek with very steeps sides. Paddles will not
help here.

The problem? I've got about 280GB worth of data on a RAID0 (striped)
array in the form of two (2) WD 160GB Hard drives -- right to the now
dead motherboard.

What options - if any -- do I have? If I can find another motherboard
(an exact same replacement, if you will), will the new mobo 'pick up'
the settings (assuming I set the controller to do raid0 again) and
present the data to the Windows XP Pro OS? That would only be too
cool.

Unlike very sophisticated and expensive raid solutions like the
HP/Compaq ones I've worked with, I *do not* believe that the DFI Raid
controller will actually place information onto the hard drives
regarding this, nor do I believe it will effectively store
configuration in it's internal NVRAM.

If either of those are true, I've possibly lost ALOT of good data.
Ouch.

TIA.
