Except that it isn't Bush trying to re-instate the draft, it is a low-handed, cynical attempt by the Democrats to make it look like he is and to increase projected costs for the military. House bill, HR 163, is co-sponsored by Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Washington and Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y. In the Senate, Fritz Hollings, D-S.C., is the lone sponsor of S 89. All of these bills are designed to make the average American nervous about a possible draft right before an election, and by extension, blame Bush and his administration for them. In fact, both bills are being rejected by the Bush administration. As for Bush circumventing the constitution, give me a break. The truth remains that Saddam was in violation of numerous UN resolutions, and was a staunch supporter of terrorism. Remember that he gave 25,000 USD grants to all Palestinian families that sent their sons to die in the name of Allah and the death of Israelis. WMD was an unfortunate approach for Bush to take on the issue. With regards to the police action, you are absolutely correct. Americans and those countries that are deep down afraid of their power are the reason for the current death toll in Iraq, and Bush is to blame for caving into their demands and paranoia. The US should stop giving a **** what the international community says and nuke Fallujah. The way I see it, it is time for the Iraqis to stand up for their own country and stop leaving it to others. If they don't want to get bombed, then clear out the insurgents themselves. It's amazing that these lowlifes have suddenly found their courage to fight the USA when they cowered in fear under Saddam. The only reason is that they know the US will show them mercy that Saddam never would. All very well and from my point of view the removal of Saddam was justified by all means. However, the whole affair somehow smells like an 'war for the black gold' in the first place. Was Bush comercialised by the oil lobby? Questions that should be answered.. /2cents |

"Clark" wrote in message ... Yes He fought back but being true to his style he started a war with the wrong people! What did Iraq have to do with 9/11? Lets see? which President gave us 8 years of jobs, a multi billion surplus. And who is the cowboy that spent it? Nothing wrong with a blow job, I bet Lara doesn't swallow. In 2001 Al Gore, John Kerry, Bill Clinton, Tom Dashell and other Democrats supported action against Iraq. The CIA and FBI reported Iraq was supporting and funding Ai Quida training camps. er... Al Gore had said that starting a fake war in Iraq would be a mistake. I don't recall what Bill Clinton said, if anything. Information about Iraq was a lie.... I thought there was WMD in Iraq - and I thought it was still a lame excuse, but if he had them - sure. But the whole thing was a lie. Read the books, people have been saying THIS ADMIN has been wanting to attack Iraq since day one and this is before we fired the first bullet.... learn! So instead, we have created more ****ed off muslims who will be doing sissy terrorist attacks against the modern world (Terrorist, terrorism are proper words. Terror is not. But when you have a dumb **** in the white house, our education sinks further. You learn to speak in elementary or middle school... RIGHT: He is doing a terrorist act. WRONG: He is doing a terror attack. RIGHT: We are in Terror. See? Oh yeah... lets not forget these other FACTS: 1 - Cheney, one of HIS trials - the judge is a friend of his and they are regular fishing buddies.... oh how nice. That is NOT legit. Its improper of the courts, the govt and the people to allow it. It's like have a Nazi SS dude trying to procecute Adolf Hitler in court. 2 - Top level in the Bush office purposly BLEW the cover of a secret agent because her husband said that the Admins' proof of WMD was bull****. So they commited treason and put her life in danger. Her job was to fight terrorism... but her cover is blown and is not longer a usable agent. Guess whose stonewalling that investigation? Who? Be honest... I know, its a hard thing for you. Its rather funny that Bush camp says bad things about Kerry's military record... uh, he has one. Bush doesn't - he went AWOL, never served combat duty and purposly trained to fly a jet the forces where already phasing out. DUH. And in case you're going to talk about the recent group of vets who says that Kerry sucks... keep in mind who supports this group... they say everyone sucks who isn't Bush. DUH. So whose side is Bush on? Not America's. Remember: In the USA - it is illegal to draw or write about Heir Bush in a negative way. uh... do you have the ability to debate what I am saying? To debate a pinhead who does not understand the law is futile. Hey dumb-ass, debate... to hard for what little brain cells you have. Typical. Thats the easy answer... oh yeah, retardo in the white house couldn't debate either... it's not illegal write about the President of the USA. As I pointed out Its looking like that. earlier it's done every day. Hence my correct observation that you don't know how to read or you haven't progressed beyond a first grade primer! Funny... bush seems to have the inability to read is own speeches on the monitor... so thats funny coming from you.
