Primary Disk not found on GA-7NNXP m/b
Hi. I need urgent help here please.
Just replaced PSU on PC, had machine booting into windows, did a bit more fiddling with PSU leads due to dodgy connection to CD & therm front panel. Boot now stalls telling me it can't find the system files, so I assume the primary HDD isn't being found. I've checked all the cables and they look OK to me, but I'm not familiar with the RAID/SATA HDD connections - they're new to me. Can anyone please suggest what I might have done or not done to "lose" the primary HDD? Is there any likely way I could have crashed the HDD by changing the power cables around? Not my PC so I don't have the exact HDD spec available. Thanks Dave. |

I'd check the power connector at the SATA drive end. As there is no retainer
to secure it to the drive it might very easily wiggle loose... -- Tumppi Reply to group ================================================= Most learned on nntp://news.mircosoft.com Helsinki, Finland (remove _NOSPAM) (translations from FI/SE not always accurate) ================================================= "Dacdev" kirjoitti viestissä om...
