LaserJet 4v Envelope Printing
I have a client who shares an LJ 4v on his NT4.0 workstation with
another NT4.0 PC and an XP Pro PC. He runs Word 2000 on the host PC and wants to use the Word facility whereby he selects the name and address from a large document then Tools | Envelopes and Labels and an envelope prints from the manual feeder. However the text orientation is wrong - effectively portrait rather than landscape. He can do it on his DeskJet but not the LJ. I have tried another PC, another printer, WordXP and Windows XP all with the same problem. I have updated to the latest 4v drivers. The envelope size is C65 and have tried all the various permutations within the Envelopes and Labels option but do not want to change the document or printer setup as it works fine for all other jobs. Want I want is to rotate the text 90 degrees (not available) or manually feed the envelope long edge first (paper jams). Can anyone help? |
