Default Video capture resolution on 9800SE

I am working on a video capture application.
I use Windows XP, an ATI-AIW 9800SE video card and CapturePro3
(software from Pegasus Imaging).

I want to capture video (PAL) at 768x576, but this resolution is not
available in the resolution list.

The first 4:3 format I can select is 640x480, but this resolution is
too small for my application.

Does anyone know this problem and is it possible to set my capture
resolution to 768x576?

And why can I select a lot of resolutions that are not 4:3 when
capturing PAL format?

with kind regards, Guus
