a7n8x AGP not working?
I have a problem with all games pausing for 5-10 seconds and then
resuming. I am trying to find the problem. I think it may be AGP related. Here is my setup: asus a7n8x-d amd 2000+ winxp-pro 512 meg mem geforce ti4200 128m 8x agp Things I have tried: fresh install of XP updated all drivers, and directx, tried different versions turned of fast write set agp apeture to various settings. Here's where windows says my vid card is located, is this supposed to be AGP? The 'gart' driver is part of the chipset drivers. Once the chipset drivers

The AGP slot is, for many intents and purposes a PCI slot... thats why you have an AGP to PCI bridge. (the GART driver) The fact that your computer tells you that the card is plugged into a PCI slot is correct... provided that when you view devices by connection, it hangs off the AGP to PCI bridge.
