Which memory for a dell 170L mini tower?

hi
got dell 170L but no mem fitted, may try to get it going but not sure
what type of memory, got ddr in my other machine with 1 cut away slot
in mem chip, but it will not fit this dell, cut out is about 5 mm diff
position , bit confused!

When in doubt, go to the source. Either DDR333 or DDR400 depending on
the processor and FSB.

Your existing memory might be DDR2.

DDR. Try PC2700 non-ECC, non-buffered. Very much vanilla memory. It's the
same motherboard and everything else as the Dimension 2400. Only difference is
the front plastic bezel... Ben Myers
