It's a site trying to sell ad space with the promise of showing NG ratings. As you said, totally useless even if there were any information to glean from it. |

It is a somewhat strange concept, but with Usenet forums becoming more
and more filled with spam, trolls, and off-topic comments and ads, it may be of some help in finding a "good" content group, as a jumping "on" point. However, I do sort of wonder who would take the time to actually rate a newsgroup regularly. Couldn't agree more regarding blocking certain posters. Saves me a lot of time, and frustration.
