Default Old problem BACK!

Hey all,

Having left nvidia mobo's alone for a while and gone over to intel I thought
it time to reinvest in Nvidia and bought a XFX 790i Ultra and Geforce
9800x2.

Combined with an intel 9650 extreme and 4 gb Corsair XMS DDR3 PC12800 ram
all was running well. Recebtly updated nforce utilities to 6.01 and
graphics to 174.74...peachy....NO! Started getting the nvlddmkm - graphics
stopped responding crap again! BTW, running Vista x64 Ultimate...This was a
key reason I swore (and subsequently ignored) I would not use an nvidia
chipset again. Please, someone tell me there is a fix now...!?!

Chris

If your power supply is capable of driving all these,
maybe you should just go back to the older version of Nvidia driver.

I think you answered your own question. Roll back on the video card driver
and nForce utilities one at a time.
