Default Problem during burning

tcm wrote:

when i use my external iomega 650 cd burner, i am now getting stopped
in the middle of the burn. I hear the drive being accessed or engaged
when nothing else is running except nero and then i get a fixation
error report. The burner usually worked fine in the past. Any ideas
to stop this from occuring? thanks

Assuming that this is consistent (therefore not due to a speck of dust
on the blank), it sounds as though the rails are dirty or corroded. If
it is under warranty, get it repaired. If not, you can try disassembling
and cleaning; the only alternative is replacement.
