Lost partition doing merge with PartitionMagic

You would merge the 24003 MB NTFS partition with the 4298 MB NTFS partition? There is no boot sector (first sector) for the 4298 MB NTFS partition, so the merge was begun. Yep, it's all true.  It is not a common damage type, so it may take some time to figure it out. Well, I've recoverd some jpg files with findjpg and that was all I could do. I've tried findfile but all I've got was corrupted files (right file name, size but random content). Maybe the rest of the data was recoverble but i've decided that the jpeg's were the only thing i was after. So I resized the 24GB partition to 28GB and ended the recovery proces. I was under time pressure, so that was the solution. Anyway thanks for reply and for a great software. Kudos. Piotr
