GA-K8N51GMF-9-RH / Nvidia nForce Network Controller query
Just bought a new system based on the above MB. I installed Windows XP
followed by the Nvidia system drivers on the accompanying CD. If I reboot my machine with my LAN cable attached it reboots itself shortly after the Windows XP splash screen (there is a momentary blue screen before the reboot but it happens so fast it's impossible to read it). It will continue to do this if the LAN cable is attached. However, if I remove the cable & reboot it goes into XP OK & tells me that my LAN cable is unplugged. If I now plug it in it works fine & I can acces the net etc. Does anybody have any ideas what could cause this ? Many thanks in advance, Keith |
