Epson C88+ feeding straight
My C88+ is feeding paper at an angle so that printing is slanted
noticeably to the right. Anyone have this problem and have a cure (aside from another printer)? Thanks, -- e-mail: d boland 9 (all 1 word) at fastmail period fm |

Thanks, Yeah, that's a common problem, well sort of, you must be sure that the sliding paper guide is tight against edge of the paper. At least that what we've come to notice. Frank Also - check to be sure that nothing has fallen into or gotten stuck in the paper feed area. The rollers that feed the paper through can also get a buildup of dust or lint from paper and might need to be cleaned. |

The rollers that feed the paper through can also get a buildup of dust or lint from paper and might need to be cleaned. I've also noticed this happening not only on the C88+ but on a number of C84's that we use. The only thing I've found to minimize the slanting is what has been suggested already; to make sure the paper guide is tight up against the paper. This happens on new machines as well as old. -- Jan Alter or |
