Same batch...ruined the last six or seven. Does the attached error log mean

After all the headaches with Roxio and Nero, I was wondering if anyone had
another program to recommend. Ideally, I'd like to be able to convert MP3's
to Wav's and burn a CD all in one operation.

Different brand of blanks?

You haven't patched Windows Media Player lately, have you? That royally
screwed up all my burning software, until I uninstalled it.

Make a data burn to make sure that the burner and media are not at fault
as the errors seemed to indicate the burner does not like the media.

Damndest thing...I've used Memorex blanks for years and was on the last
eight or so of a spindle when the error messages started flying. A brand new
spindle of Memorex blanks threw the same errors. Not one of them was
recordable for either data or music. Figuring it can't be the media, I spent
a lot of time trying to figure out what was wrong with my hardware and/or
software. Out of sheer frustration, I bought a different brand of blanks
(Maxell) and everything recorded fine. Sorry to trouble...thanks for the
input.

Your drive may be getting ready to go to wherever dead drives go.
