Some motherboards have a built in monitor for temperature & fan speed
measurement with audible warnings etc... There are even lcd panels that fit into a spare CD drive bay & hook up to the CPU & other fans along with temperature probes for monitoring. I have a Q-TEC 544TC which looks nice & does what it is supposed to at a very reasonable cost too. Quite a choice out there really. wrote in message oups.com...
