Default Chromecast Question

Is a help request for Chromecast appropriate in this folder? If not,
what folder?

The trick would be picking a hardware name for it.

Is it considered a "Media Player" ?

For example, in this article, they never identify
the hardware category it falls into.

http://www.howtogeek.com/233810/how-...ur-chromecast/

They call it a Media Player in this advert. But this
one doesn't look like the original.

There are several models, and a 4K version is the latest.

Found one response:

Hello, thanks for taking the time to post your issue.

See if your Android device is optimized for the*Cast Screen*feature.

The Google Cast extension for computers is not supported on phones and
tablets

Since my tablet will cast from some cast apps directly (eg Megacast,
Allcast), I assume it shud cast the sceen, and that I just have not
learned the trick.

Default Chromecast Question - dang!

I am really disappointed. I am becoming convinced that this Android
5.1.1 cannot cast to a TV what I show on my tablet screen. IE
'screencast'. Even tho it looks like I can cast nicely from any app
that includes support for casting. To wit, Google Home, Youtube, ...
They have an icon on the tablet screen to select such casting. I can
do the latter but not the former.

Oh well. I wasted my money.
