Default Geforce Go7900GS issue

ALSO: Depending on the video, I am seeing an occasional "rolling raster", a
tear that moves slowly from the bottom of the screen to the top.

Thanks much for your input. -- Steve

I have a Dell e1705 laptop with a Geforce Go7900GS 256MB card. I am
finding that when my res is set to 1280x720, and I run 1280x720 .wmv video
files on an outboard screen, I see tearing in the scenes with a lot of
side-to-side motion. How can I stop this? Do I need a card/computer, or
is there a "best" codec setup?
