Winfast 7800GT, suck it down

Call up Asus and see if you can order separately the external power brick
that comes with the 7800GT Dual. It has a six-pin Molex connector and is
therefore compatible with all 7800GT cards.

I just bought a Winfast 7800GT and the damn thing is sucking up so much
from the 12V output of my PSU that it's causing my hard drives to crap out.
It's a 420W microATX PSU and I don't have room for a full-sized ATX PSU in
the case. =:-(

Anyway, my real question is - are there any plugins for MBM5 that will
allow me to monitor the temperature and fan speed of a 7800GT? Or, even
better, is there monitoring software that can read the usual system stuff,
and the videocard, and make the data available to XP perfmon?

It's an impressive card. I've not used any of the supplied drivers but
have gone straight for the latest from Nvidia, and it seems pretty stable.
