Default Wireless Devices

Are wireless devices, keyboards, mouse, joysticks, faster than standard wire
units? Is there less lag in gaming with these devices?

In most casses the wired parts are faster, have less lag with gaming. In
to many cases hte signals of the wireless parts lose line of site with
the reciver, resulting in loss of signal or lag.

Personaly i favor the wired optical mice, great control and fast.

Wireless devices are never as fast as their wired *same*
counterparts. Sometimes the difference is insignificant, but
it's still there.

Quite the opposite usually. The higher end wireless devices tend to
have less lag. In the best cases, the wireless devices have no
noticeable lag or are about the same as wired devices.

That's not to say that there aren't wired devices which have a crappy
response time. There are crappy examples of both wired and wireless
devices.
