Default Gateway Profile2 screen info

Hello,
I just got an old broke Gateway Profile 2. The PC is hopelessly screwed,
but it has a flatscreen monitor built onto it that I would like to recycle.
Does anyone have an idea where to look for the specs on this monitor? It
has a small signal cable that has 21 pins (I think) and the power going to
it. I have heard that it is a standard SVGA just a funny connector. If
that is the case, I should be able to wire it to a standard monitor cable,
right?

Thanks for your time,
TALON §
