Older Socket A mobo??
Where can I buy an older style Socket A mother board. I have an Athlon 1500
chip and 512K of 133 memory. My problem is finding a motherboard that will work with this older memory. This machine will be used by my grandkids for simple games like GTA with a 64 meg video card. This hardware is setup with a Duron 700, but got the Athlon 1500 left over from another project. The Athlon does not work with existing mobo. I checked Tigerdirect, but all their boards take newer memory. Any suggestions? Thanks |
