The comparison? Halo 3? only dx10 and ONLY on Vista. Bah! Also, note that I've been running UT2004 under linux 64bit and opengl. 10% better fps and fewer crashes that under dx and windows. id software choose opengl because it was the best available at the time. I find it very interesting that they never ported their engines to directx when directx "supposedly" became better that opengl. |
