Well, if you had included the date code someone could have told you. It's
the four digits after the stepping code (JIUMB) and is YYWW. 0302 for
example would be a manufacture week of 2 in the year of 2003.

The code is 0337 so the chip is about 8 or 9 months old. It had slight
damage to one corner and a small scratch on the edge of the core. It
runs stable as an XP2000 (133 x 11.5) but not as an XP2600. The HSF is
a large aluminum (xp2200 rated) one that has been lapped and used with
arctic silver 3. If I use my lapped vantec copper HSF with arctic
silver 3 it will run as an xp2600 but no higher.
Should I RMA this used cpu back to www.smksuperstore.com (the box said
pcboost) or not.

Yea, good guess. Needed to replace my kids 950 celeron (1st CPU I ever
had die & not ever overclocked). Back to Newegg next time.
