Which one, UMAX Powerlook 1000 or Canoscan 9900F? Just so you know... I bought a scanner from Umax. When I upgraded my OS I went to download drivers and learned that "This software IS NOT downloadable. Available on CD-ROM only. This product is non-returnable and non-refundable." They want $14.95 but this does not include charges for shipping, handling and in my case, duties. ~Dr.J. |

Last I checked, this might be available at the non-US UMAX websites. I
would check there for the drivers. --Wolfie Dr. J. Smith wrote: Which one, UMAX Powerlook 1000 or Canoscan 9900F? Just so you know... I bought a scanner from Umax.
