Default Epson 2450 Photo resolution

Hello,

what's the max. OPTICAL resolution of a Epson 2450 Photo scanner used
with Silverfast?

Best regards

It will produce 2400 dpi files from the scanner without interpolation.
Anything else will just be created from interpolation. The real question is
what is the true optical resolution? A 2400 dpi scan from the 2450 will
appear softer than the same scan from something like a Nikon 9000.

That isn't so much a question of resolution, rather of MTF.
