Ive incorporated my raid drivers from floppy onto my winxp cd by using
winnt.sif unattended installation So i dont have to put a floppy in at
all. Ive even got my windows updates on cd so when it boots to the desktop
for the first time it installed them via a batch file. Also windows media
player, dx9, winrar, mouse driver, raid windows drivers.

Better still,

Get MS to support loading drivers from other than floppy's.
IE CD.
Get the drivers into the next XP service pack when WHQL'd.
Ok, not easy for new chipsets...
M/b manufacturers could better coordinate driver / bios versions with
clearer statements on dependancies.

Flames don't help. A considerable number of people have had *real* trouble
with F6 driver installs on numerous m/b's with on at least one occasion

the
driver files not being laid out correctly. This is not just a Gigabyte
problem...

Yep im with peter on this one. They should at leased supply a floppy.

I
got
the 8knxp. But also bought an abit IC7 max 3 and a floppy was supplied

by
them

Email them and suggest it to them for a future board release.
