Does socket 754 do both?

I've seen this socket listed as Athlon 64/Sempron. Does this mean it will
handle both a 64bit Athon 3700+ or a Sempron 2800+ ?

If so I'll jump at it. I can upgrade my MB and not have to get a new chip
'till later (when the OS actually works right).

Yes, Athlon 64 and Sempron (socket 754) and Sempron 64 ((with E6
stepping and SSE3!)).
(Athlons 64 for socket 754 being sold out)
