USB 2.0 & 1.0 Confusion?
Just wondering:
Would a USB 1.0 device still work @ 12Mbps in a USB 2.0 port. Thanks in advance. |

Yes it would. But, a USB 2.0 device would NOT work in a USB 1.0 port.

I have a USB 2.0 Flash Drive that works fine in a USB 1.0 port!

You will only get full speed with USB 2 device into USB 2 controller. As soon as one end starts talking at USB 1 speed, then both devices switch to the slower speed. Everything should be compatible though. |
