Default Type of Ink used in Epson Stylus Photo 830U ?

Hi All

Can someone please advise me as to whether the ink used in the Epsom Stylus
Photo 700 cartridges is the same as that used in the Epson Stylus Photo 830U
carts. The reason that I ask is that I have some ink left over from when I
used to refill my 700 carts and would hate to waste it.

I realise that I would need to get a chip resetter if I was to refill the
830U carts.

Thanks in advance

DeeBee

No it isn't the same. The 700 ink has no archival properties to it at all.
If you want your photos to last don't use the 700 ink.

What's an 830U? Appears to be a non-US number. Anyone know the US
equivalent.

This aside, your ink supplier should know the answer to this.
