Default Forceware 53.03: Missing Nview tab in Settings->Advance

Dear all,

I've just recently upgraded the drivers for my Nvidia GeForce4 MX440
(win2K) to the latest 53.03 version downloaded off Nvidia.com.

My problem is that after completing the installation of the driver,
I'm unable to locate the Nview tab that usually appears in the Display
setting properties, i.e. Display
Properties-Settings-Advance-Geforce4 MX 440(*missing*)

The only tabs present a

Under the control panel, I also have a "NVIDIA nView Desktop Manager"
which allows me to change/setup profiles/desktops, but none of the
options seemed to enable the nView tab under display settings.

My driver installation procedu

I uninstalled older drivers (which contained nView 2.0), rebooted, and
completed the installation process for the new drivers which prompts a
reboot. Upon rebooting, I am able to see the Nvidia GF4 MX440 device
under Device Manager.

I've attempted the uninstallation/installation process many times,
including

1) executing the .exe installation file,
2) Unarchiving the .exe file using winzip - setup.exe,
3) Using the unarchived *.inf drivers directly.

All 3 methods installed the drivers, but neither provided the nView
tab needed to use the advance features, such as nVRotate, setup video
overlay, etc.

Any similiar encounters/help regarding this issue is much appreciated.
Thanks,
AK.

The nView panel only shows up if you have multiple devices actually
connected (including TV Out).
