Default Cannot adjust television scan size thru Nvidia Control Panel

I just got a used Sony Trinitron TV (probably 8-10 years old). I hooked
it up to the computer thru the RCA video input, and set the resolution
to 800x600. Everything looks good so far, except that there are black
bars along both sides of the screen (underscanning).

I opened up the Nvidia control panel, and went to 'Adjust Television
size and position" in the Video & Television section. I am able to
adjust the position of the image (up, down, left or right), but I
cannot adjust the size. The buttons go down when I click them, but the
picture doesn't move.

I would really love to have the whole screen full -- any ideas why this
may be happening?

Thanks
Andrew

Check the BIOS that the output of your PC is at the same standard, PAL
or NTSC, as your TV set.
