compaq presario modem firmware
My Compaq Presario 1275 notebook does have a internal Compaq Presario
56K-DF modem. Windows 98 SE does not detect the modem. And Windows XP does detect the modem but gives me the following error message: This device is disabled because the firmware of the device did not give it the required resources. (Code 29) There are no BIOS settings for this modem. Does anyone have an idea?
