Default Reappearing/Disappearing CDRW....Help?

I have a CDRW that just keeps re-appearing and then Disappearing a day
or so later, Any clues to what this could be. I'm using WIN XP pro.

Check your ASPI layer is up to date

Little hackers are getting better now that Microsoft is feeling the crunch
we all did some 2 or so years ago.

Try uninstalling in Device Manager, shutting down, then re-installing.
