Default REVERSE Conspiracy Theory

Just talked to a tech. He says that the future of PC
monitors is we will run our apps in "scalable windows"
including our games, and the full screen will be
dedicated to "BlueTooth" and digital HDTV. Hmm
.... Right now, I'm doing just the opposite. I'm
running my apps and games in a scalable full-screen
resolution, and my PVR and DVD-movies in scalable
windows. Only thing is, I can click on Full Screen,
and the scaled window will go to full screen. Not
so in the future, unless the app or game is written
for a standard HDTV resolution. Otherwise, we better
get use to black bars. Begins to make a little sense
.... not much, but I get the point. Too much technology.
Follow the $$$ trail.

Fear not. You'll be informed as to what you *want*.
Then when you inform them that it is not what you want they won't
hesitate to tell you that they are the *experts* and they know what's
best for you.
They always do that because as you say, that's where the dollars are. :-)
