Default Nvidia Geforce 6600/6800 vs. ATI Radeon Xpress 200 performance?

I searched on Google and sites like Tom's Hardware and Anandtech
hoping to find something that will give me a rough idea how much
better a standalone Nvidia Geforce 6600 or 6800 (either plain, GS, or
GT) will perform on your average game (like Doom 3, Halo, UT 2004,
Battlefields 2) compared to a similar motherboard with onboard ATI
Radeon Xpress 200 graphics.

Surprisingly I couldn't find any side by side comparisons. I know
there are other factors such as the motherboard chipset (I'm using
Nforce4), but assuming all other things being equal, is there any web
site which has a list of the benchmarks and how much faster each card
is on average?

The closest thing I could find is at:
http://freestone-group.com/video-car...k-results.html

If I believe these numbers, then roughly:
- ATI Radeon Xpress 200 = 65-145
- Geforce 6600 = 314-690
- Geforce 6600 GT = 800-1000
- Geforce 6800 = 699 - 1384
- Geforce 6800 GT = 954 - 1434

So the Geforce 6600 is probably 3x as fast as ATI Radeon Express 200
built-in video, and the 6800 or 6600 GT is almost 2x as fast as the
6600.

Is this right?

Absolutely. The Xpress chips are effectively less powerful than a
chopped down 6200 w/ 64-bit bus. Also, DDR3 RAM gives a GT an immense
advantage in bandwidth over any integrated chip.

I recommend a 6600GT for cheap or a 6800GS (mass production replacement
for 6800GT and 6800).
